This site was created by Holly Treece.  Holly and her husband have had 15 years of wedding bliss.  Together they have three amazing children ages 14, 12, and 11. She has been an educator for almost fifteen years.  Currently, Holly is a recent graduate from Liberty University completing a degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Gifted Education. Throughout her journey at Liberty, Holly molded her passion for working with gifted students into a new passion for teaching students self-regulation skills.  Colossians 3:2 says, "set your minds on things above, not on earthly things." Self-regulation for students will help ground them and focus on appropriate tasks. This site is here to serve as a tool to help parents, students, and teachers understand what self-regulation is, how a lack of it presents itself in gifted students, and provide strategies for developing better skills.
